It fermented with full clusters and indigenous yeasts in open top and well seasoned 4,500 liter oak vats and matured in a combination of oak vats of different sizes 4,500, 10,000 and 15,000 liter ones for six months. Each plot was harvested at the right time, which seems to have increased precision in the cuvée, a fruit driven, primary and juicy red with similar alcohol as in previous years 12.5 percent, a pH of 3.6 and 5.7 grams of acidity. This is a lot more serious than a young and juicy red it has fruit but with a complexity of flavors, a medium bodied palate and very fine tannins. It is approachable and ideal with food but it also has the potential to keep in bottle. It is a champion for quality price one to buy by the case. It has one of the lowest production volumes in recent times 45,000 bottles. It was bottled between April and June 2025. 93 Pts, Luis Gutiérrez - The Wine Advocate.

Clos Lojen Bobal is the product of a single 4,500 litre old oak vat ferment, using whole bunches and carbonic maceration with indigenous yeasts, a winemaking style that will feel very familiar to Beaujolais drinkers.

Fruit comes from Ponce’s most southerly vineyard, picked early to retain freshness, which translates directly into the glass with crunchy, bright and lifted fruit supported by a lively acid line.

The 2024 is all about energy and precision. Bright red berries, crushed herbs and a subtle earthy note lead into a palate that is fresh, supple and finely textured. There is a natural juiciness here but it is framed by structure and balance keeping everything in check.

A wine that feels effortless but delivers far more than expected at the price, the kind of bottle you open casually and end up thinking about long after.

Wow!, probably one of the best wines I've had this year. Pedro.

The 2024 La Estrecha comes from a plot that tends to deliver finesse, a floral character and complexity. It shows freshness and approachability but can also age. It fermented with full clusters in 4,500 litre oak vats with indigenous yeasts and matured in a 5,000 litre oak vat until just before the next harvest. It is an old Bobal vineyard on granite soils with around 10 percent other varieties. It comes in at 12.2 percent alcohol, a pH of 3.5 and 5.7 grams of acidity. It starts a little shy but with nuance and detail and then becomes more insinuating and serious. This is always one of my favourite wines here irrespective of price. The varietal blend and soils make it very elegant, complex and complete with very fine chalky tannins and less grip than those from Pino. This could very well be the highlight of the 2024 vintage. 5,200 bottles produced. It was bottled in July 2025. 98 Pts, Luis Gutiérrez - The Wine Advocate.

La Estrecha is a single parcel of very old vines planted at high density on red clay and limestone at around 700 metres above sea level.
