XiaoPu Perdue 22.1 NV

Regular price $84

Part of the Perdue Pinot Noir series from XiaoPu, the nomadic winery founded in 2017 by ex sommelier and winemaker Ian Dai Hongjing, who works with growers across diverse Chinese terroirs using sustainable, low intervention practices. The Perdue series, inspired by the idea of Génération Perdue or The Lost Generation, explores natural fermentations, minimal additions and expressive vineyard character. The 22.1 bottling includes fruit sourced in part from Tianshui in Gansu, where cooler, wetter conditions give grapes with high acidity and lower alcohol. It offers red cherry and raspberry fruit with spice and herbal complexity, supported by a light, textured palate and fine, natural tannins, reflecting XiaoPu’s commitment to slow wine and authentic regional expression.
