His focus is on cool-climate Eden Valley hillside sites, working with dry-grown vines of exceptional age, and a winemaking approach that gets out of the way and lets the vineyard speak.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eK' Sands is sourced from two Asbroek blocks of remarkable provenance: 'Ancient' vines dating to circa 1864, and 'Old Vines' of 50 or more years. Dry-grown, low-yielding, and deeply rooted, these are among the most historically significant vine resources in the Eden Valley. The age and character of the fruit is written into every layer of the wine.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe 2025 vintage was early and dry, with low yields delivering concentrated flavours and striking natural acidity.
