The family has farmed here for generations, working a collection of small vineyards planted with traditional local varieties and making wine in an old-fashioned, deeply agricultural way. Farming is organic and cellar work is deliberately minimal, resulting in wines with enormous personality and a strong sense of place.

Lautizio is their expression of Ciliegiolo, a variety prized for its perfume, bright red fruit and naturally supple character. Light to medium-bodied, juicy and savoury, with fine tannins and bright acidity running through the palate. There is a beautifully rustic edge underneath all that fresh fruit, giving the wine plenty of character without sacrificing drinkability.
