The family's story began with Benjamin Tourbillon's grandfather, who farmed vines in Gigondas and supplied the local cooperative for decades. In 2011, Benjamin established Domaine Tourbillon in Lagnes, building on that family inheritance and gradually expanding into some of the Southern Rhône's most celebrated terroirs, including Gigondas, Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Plan de Dieu and Côtes du Rhône. His brother Alexandre joined the domaine in 2018, bringing the next generation into the family project.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe \u003cstrong\u003eCuvée du Grand Père\u003c\/strong\u003e is a fitting tribute to that history. Made predominantly from \u003cstrong\u003e80% Grenache from very old vines\u003c\/strong\u003e, with 10% Syrah, and raised entirely in concrete, it is all about fruit, freshness and texture rather than oak.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDark ruby in colour, with lifted aromas of raspberry, red cherry and flowers, followed by touches of pepper and liquorice.
