While informed by oxidative notes it’s a very fresh rendition of chardonnay, a very well-judged marriage of brightness and savoury elements. Very good. Big flavour; ripe apple, Meyer lemon, ginger, salted almonds, fino sherry. Scents lean to fino sherry, green apple, faint-light honeycomb and alpine herbs. Magnificent all up, and geez did it open and open. A new producer for me, a first look at the wines… I’m in. So in."
