A site expressive Riesling from the Graacher Himmelreich vineyard in the Mosel, made by Dr Loosen, a family run estate founded in 1838 that has shaped Mosel winemaking for nearly two centuries. The 2022 Kabinett from this cool vintage shows aromas of green apple, white peach, citrus blossom and slate infused minerality, leading to a crisp yet gently textured palate where bright acidity and a touch of delicate sweetness balance with saline drive and stony tension. Light in body but richly layered, it captures the Graach hillside’s character and Dr Loosen’s long standing terroir focused philosophy.
