A lively and expressive Syrah from Domaine des Miquettes, a small organic estate above the Rhône in Cheminas founded in 2003 by Paul Estève and Chrystelle Vareille who work biodynamically and vinify with minimal intervention. The 2021 Ti Rouge is made from hand-picked grapes grown on granite and schist slopes, fermented naturally and aged in terracotta amphora to reveal the essence of the vineyard. Bright aromas of red and dark berries mingle with crushed herbs and subtle spice while the silky palate offers juicy fruit, mineral tension and elegant freshness. A rare wine that reflects place, process and the care of its makers.
