RP stands for Robyn Pamela, a tribute to the remarkable woman at the heart of the Farr family. Robyn has been involved in every aspect of the estate, from planting the first vines and working the vineyards to helping in the cellar throughout the family's winemaking history. The wine comes from the densely planted Côte Vineyard, where exposed north, northeast and east-facing slopes produce Pinot Noir of exceptional concentration and refinement.

The 2024 is a magnificent expression of Pinot Noir, combining richness and power with extraordinary elegance. Deeply perfumed with ripe cherries, dark berries, warm spice and subtle cocoa, the wine gradually reveals delicate floral notes and a beautiful freshness. “Deep red with a residue of purple in the meniscus, the bouquet subdued at first, showing some oak and a slight vegetal overlay, quickly opening out with complex spice, dried herb, dried floral and dried fruit aromas, the palate intense and bold, ripe and rounded with abundant silty tannins and concentrated flavour that evokes raspberry, chinotto, sarsaparilla, and balsamic herbs. The tannins are voluminous and coat the mouth, while the concentrated flavour powers on into an extended and beautifully balanced aftertaste.
