FAQs

Our Story

Appellance is a small, independent wine merchant based in Sydney, built around a simple idea: finding and sharing genuinely great wines from passionate producers around the world.

We focus on wines with soul. Wines made by real people who care deeply about what they do. Many of the bottles you'll find here are produced in small quantities, difficult to find, and chosen because we truly believe they're worth drinking.

Founded by Pedro Vicente, Appellance grew from a lifelong passion for food, wine, and hospitality. After years working as a chef and travelling through wine regions, meeting growers and tasting wines at their source, it became clear that some of the most exciting wines never make it onto the shelves of large retailers.

That's where we come in.

We spend our time searching for hidden gems, great value discoveries, and special bottles from Australia and beyond, making them easy for you to access and enjoy.

Every wine is personally selected, carefully stored in temperature-controlled conditions, and delivered with genuine care.

Most importantly, we're a small business that loves wine and loves helping people discover it. If you ever need a recommendation or are searching for something special, we're always happy to help.

Welcome to Appellance.

Delivery Times

We aim to dispatch orders as quickly as possible. Delivery times vary depending on your location, seasonal demand and courier availability.

Signature on Delivery

Signature on delivery is required for all alcohol shipments to verify age. If no one is available to sign, the courier may leave a card with instructions for collection or re-delivery.

Damaged or Delayed Deliveries

We take responsibility for your order and do our best to ensure it arrives safely.

Occasionally, courier delays or breakages can occur outside our direct control. If your order arrives damaged or experiences an unexpected delay, please contact us and we will work to make it right.

Returns

We take great care in packing and storing our wines. If your order arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and we will arrange a replacement or refund where appropriate. Due to the nature of wine, we are unable to accept returns for change of mind.

Case Price

Mixed case discounts apply when you purchase multiple bottles:

15% off when you buy 6 or more bottles.

Discount applied at checkout. This offer applies to wine and cider only; spirits are excluded.

Events

Planning an event? We can help curate the wines for your occasion. By contacting us at hello@appellance.com we will work closely with you to tailor a selection that suits your event, preferences, and budget. All event wine orders include complimentary delivery.
