Australia's wine regions deliver bold flavors, exceptional quality, and outstanding value. Our Australian collection showcases the country's diverse terroirs—from the powerful Shiraz of the Barossa Valley and McLaren Vale to the elegant cool-climate wines of the Hunter Valley, Clare Valley, and Central Otago-inspired regions.
Explore iconic Australian varietals including Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Grenache, alongside refined expressions of Chardonnay, Riesling, and Semillon. Whether you're seeking rich, full-bodied reds for grilling and hearty dishes or crisp, mineral-driven whites for seafood and salads, Australian wines offer consistency, character, and approachability.
With a focus on sustainable viticulture and innovative winemaking, our Australian selection represents both established icons and exciting new producers pushing the boundaries of quality and style.
Appellance is a small, independent wine merchant based in Sydney, built around a simple idea: finding and sharing genuinely great wines from passionate producers around the world.
We focus on wines with soul. Wines made by real people who care deeply about what they do. Many of the bottles you'll find here are produced in small quantities, difficult to find, and chosen because we truly believe they're worth drinking.
Founded by Pedro Vicente, Appellance grew from a lifelong passion for food, wine, and hospitality. After years working as a chef and travelling through wine regions, meeting growers and tasting wines at their source, it became clear that some of the most exciting wines never make it onto the shelves of large retailers.
That's where we come in.
We spend our time searching for hidden gems, great value discoveries, and special bottles from Australia and beyond, making them easy for you to access and enjoy.
Every wine is personally selected, carefully stored in temperature-controlled conditions, and delivered with genuine care.
Most importantly, we're a small business that loves wine and loves helping people discover it. If you ever need a recommendation or are searching for something special, we're always happy to help.
Welcome to Appellance.
