From the old vineyards of Chile’s Itata Valley, Leonardo Erazo makes this wonderfully uncomplicated Pipeño from old-vine Cinsault, farmed organically and fermented with native yeasts. Raised between concrete and large traditional raulí wood, it’s all about freshness rather than extraction.

Wild strawberry, sour cherry and cranberry lead into dried herbs, white pepper and a subtle earthy mineral note. Light-bodied, juicy and gently rustic, with crunchy acidity and fine tannins keeping everything moving. Served with a slight chill, this is dangerously easy drinking and the one litre bottle feels entirely appropriate.
