Fabrice Dodane is one of the Jura's most admired vignerons, farming organically at Domaine de Saint Pierre in Mathenay with a philosophy built on native yeasts, minimal intervention and nothing unnecessary in the cellar. After several difficult vintages reduced production at the domaine, he began working with trusted organic growers from Beaujolais and the Rhône, producing a small range of Vin de France wines held to exactly the same standard as his estate bottlings.

G.G is 100% Gamay sourced from organically farmed vineyards in Beaujolais, vinified in Dodane's cellar in Mathenay. The Vin de France label belies its precision. This is Gamay made with the rigour and restraint of a serious Jura producer.

In the Glass

100% Gamay, fermented with native yeasts, unfined and unfiltered. Wild strawberry, ripe cherry and redcurrant on the nose, with a delicate floral lift and a subtle savoury, forest-floor edge. The palate is juicy and silky, with fine tannins and bright acidity. Serve slightly chilled alongside charcuterie, roast chicken or grilled vegetables.
