Fekete Pince
Fekete Pince, meaning Black Cellar, is a natural winemaking project from the Eger region of Hungary. Working with indigenous varieties and minimal intervention, the wines are a compelling expression of one of Central Europe's most historically significant wine regions.
Fermented with wild yeasts, unfined and unfiltered, with little to no added sulphur, these are wines made to reflect the character of the vineyard and the vintage rather than a fixed house style. Expect texture, energy and a distinctly European sense of place.
A rare find in Australia and well worth exploring.
