One of the most iconic wines of the skin-contact movement. Jakot is a legendary expression of Friulano from Radikon, created by the late Stanko Radikon and continued today by his son Saša. The name itself is a tribute to the grape's history, with "Jakot" being "Tokaj" written backwards after the variety could no longer be labelled as Tocai.

Made from 100% Friulano grown on the steep hills of Oslavia near the Slovenian border, the grapes are hand harvested, fermented with native yeasts and spend around three months on their skins before ageing for several years in large Slavonian oak casks.

Deep amber in colour and full of character, Jakot delivers layers of dried apricot, orange peel, tea, herbs, almond and spice. The palate is rich and textured, with fine tannins, mineral freshness and a long savoury finish that continues to evolve in the glass.
