Miguel Merino presented an excellent collection of 2022s despite the difficulties of the year, with a range of more modern wines in Burgundy bottles and more traditional ones in Bordeaux bottles. He has joined the Futuro Viñador association of small artisanal producers and has started the process to certify the organic work in his vineyards. He owns 7.5 hectares in Briones, planted between 1918 and 2023, and works close to six more from four neighbors also in Briones. Production averages 50,000 bottles.
