Few Italian whites are as clearly tied to place as those from Mastroberardino. Based in the province of Avellino, in the heart of Irpinia, the estate has long defined the benchmark for traditional Campanian whites, where altitude and volcanic soils shape wines of tension and precision.

The 2024 Greco di Tufo is sharp, linear and uncompromising in its clarity. Citrus peel, green apple and white peach lead the profile, followed by crushed stone, almond skin and a faint smoky edge that reflects the volcanic soils of Avellino. The palate is driven by acidity and a distinct saline line, giving the wine its energy and focus from start to finish.

Rather than weight or texture, this is about cut and definition. It feels tightly wound in youth, but with enough structure and minerality to evolve in bottle while always staying true to its taut, mineral style.
