The 2024 vintage is taut, focused and deeply energetic. Aromatically it shows lemon zest, green apple and white peach, layered with crushed herbs, fennel and a distinct smoky, flinty volcanic character. On the palate, Carricante drives a linear, high-acid structure: citrus and orchard fruit sit at the core, framed by saline freshness and a chalky, mouth-watering texture. The wine is sleek rather than weighty, with a long, stony, mineral finish that feels almost electric.
