The 2021 vintage is beautifully complete. Dark cherry, blackberry and plum fruit unfold alongside notes of wild flowers, dried herbs and subtle spice. There is plenty of richness, but what stands out most is the wine’s energy. The acidity carries the fruit effortlessly across the palate, creating a wine that feels both powerful and incredibly fresh. Time spent in large oak casks and concrete adds texture without masking the character of the vineyard.

This is not Barbera made for simple refreshment. It is a wine of place and structure, offering layers of fruit, savoury complexity and a long mineral finish that keeps drawing you back to the glass. Equally rewarding at the table or in the cellar, Scudetto consistently ranks among the finest examples of the variety produced in the Langhe.
