Domaine des Ardoisières was founded by Brice Omont on abandoned historic terraces overlooking the Isère valley in Savoie. The vineyards were reclaimed from steep, schist-rich slopes through painstaking work, farmed biodynamically and focused entirely on indigenous varieties and pure alpine expression. The domaine has become a reference point for Savoie, producing wines that combine the precision of great white Burgundy with the freshness and mineral energy of altitude.

Argile Blanc is the estate’s entry-level white, yet it carries all the elegance and tension that define Ardoisières. The 2024 vintage is vibrant and precise, with a silky mouthfeel and a long saline finish that makes it feel both refined and effortless.

In the Glass

A blend of Jacquère, Chardonnay, Mondeuse Blanche and Roussanne, farmed biodynamically on schist soils and made with minimal intervention. White flowers, pear, citrus and quince on the nose, with bright acidity, gentle savoury complexity and a distinctive alpine minerality. Perfect with oysters, shellfish, freshwater fish or Alpine cheeses.
