Made from 100% Frappato grown organically and biodynamically in the hills of Vittoria, this wine is a pure expression of the grape and its sandy, calcareous terroir. Fermented with native yeasts, with gentle extraction and ageing that preserves its natural energy, Il Frappato is all about purity, vibrancy and place.

The 2023 vintage shows beautiful aromas of wild strawberry, sour cherry, violets, Mediterranean herbs and subtle spice. On the palate it is bright and refined, with silky tannins, fresh acidity, delicate minerality and a long savoury finish. A red of incredible perfume and elegance, closer in spirit to a fine Pinot Noir than a typical Sicilian red.
