Marselan is a cross of Cabernet Sauvignon and Grenache, developed in southern France but now thriving in Ningxia, where its thick skins and natural resistance to humidity make it exceptionally well-suited to the climate. At Gigi Gao's September estate on Gezi Mountain, it has become the vehicle for a red wine that is fresh, fruit-forward and genuinely easy to love: everything the variety promises when handled with a light touch.

100% Marselan from Gezi Mountain, cold macerated for five days before fermentation at 20°C over ten days, then racked and rested in stainless steel for six months before bottling. No oak, no weight, just the pure fruit character of the variety and the cool mountain site. Bright red fruit, soft tannins and a juicy, refreshing finish. Serve slightly chilled.
