Rémi Leroy Rosé NV sits firmly in that grower Champagne space where detail matters more than scale. From Côte des Bar in the south of Champagne, this is a Pinot Noir–driven rosé that leans into precision, structure, and quiet power rather than overt fruitiness.

Grapes: ~85–90% Pinot Noir, ~10–15% Chardonnay
Dosage: ~3–4 g/L (Extra Brut)

The fruit comes from Kimmeridgian limestone soils, giving the wine its tension and mineral backbone. The rosé is made with a small proportion of still red Pinot Noir, adding depth of colour and a subtle savoury edge without losing freshness. Fermentation is primarily in stainless steel with some time in older oak, building texture while preserving purity.

On the nose, expect wild strawberry, red currant, and blood orange, with layers of chalk, spice, and a gentle floral lift. The palate shows fine, persistent mousse, bright acidity, and a core of red fruit wrapped in a slightly savoury, vinous structure. There’s grip here, making it more gastronomic than your typical aperitif rosé.

This is rosé Champagne with intent — sharp, mineral, and quietly powerful. It shines with food like tuna crudo, duck, or charcuterie, but still holds its own in the glass.

Finishes long, dry, and precise. Drink now or over the next few years.
