Nikau Farm is the deeply personal project of winemakers Trudie and William Downie, tucked away in the beautiful hills of Gippsland, Victoria. Surrounded by native forest, their small farm is home to a remarkable collection of vines, with a philosophy centred on thoughtful farming, minimal intervention and allowing each vineyard to express its own character. William, one of Australia's most respected Pinot Noir producers, brings decades of experience and an uncompromising approach to these wonderfully individual wines.

Amphora Granite 2023 is an intriguing skin-contact blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Pinot Grigio and Sauvignon Blanc. A beautifully unconventional expression of Gippsland's cool climate, bringing together the aromatic lift of the Pinot varieties, the structure of Chardonnay and the freshness of Sauvignon Blanc.

A wonderfully textured and aromatic wine, with notes of ripe stone fruit, citrus peel, dried flowers and delicate herbal nuances. Gentle tannins, a savoury mineral edge and refreshing acidity make for a fascinating orange wine with plenty of personality, depth and freshness.
