Callum Powell's Agricola Vintners is one of the most exciting projects to emerge from the Barossa in years. His focus is on cool-climate Eden Valley hillside sites, working with dry-grown vines planted between 1912 and 1951, and a winemaking approach that gets out of the way and lets the vineyard speak.

In 2025, Agricola expanded to include the Steinert family's century-old vineyard on the southern Flaxman Valley hillside. Callum had worked with Chris and Anthony Steinert before, and when they invited him back, he jumped at it. The site expresses a brighter, more lifted character than Agricola's elevated rocky parcels at home, and the wines were compelling enough to bottle separately. Two Flaxman Shiraz wines this year: Naimanya & Home, and Seeliger, named after the Steinerts' ancestors who planted the vineyard over 100 years ago.

Naimanya & Home is sourced from those 100-year-old, dry-grown hillside vines. The 2025 vintage was early and dry, with low yields delivering concentrated flavours and striking natural acidity. Dark berries, wild herbs, mineral precision. Finely etched tannins and a palate with real structure and length. Built for the cellar.
