Ngeringa is one of the Adelaide Hills' most thoughtful producers, founded by Erinn and Janet Klein in 2001 on their biodynamically farmed property in Mount Barker Springs. With a deep commitment to regenerative agriculture, biodiversity and minimal intervention in the cellar, their wines are a beautiful reflection of the land they come from. The Sheoak vineyard is one of their special sites, producing Pinot Noir with wonderful delicacy, purity and a real sense of place.

The 2024 Sheoak Pinot Noir is all about finesse and beautiful detail. Fragrant wild strawberry, red cherry and raspberry mingle with rose petals, subtle spice and a lovely earthy, savoury undertone. Silky and finely structured on the palate, with delicate tannins, bright acidity and a gentle mineral character that carries through to a long, elegant finish.

There's something particularly charming about this wine. It has the fragrance and lightness that make great cool-climate Pinot Noir so appealing, but with enough depth, texture and savoury complexity to keep things interesting. A wonderfully expressive Adelaide Hills Pinot that feels effortlessly elegant without trying too hard.
