Alex Lamblot Champagne Mouvance 2021
Pale gold with a fine, energetic mousse, Mouvance 2021 is a terroir-driven grower Champagne from Alex Lamblot in the Vallée de la Marne, shaped by low-intervention vinification and a clear focus on vineyard expression and precision.
The cuvée is based on the 2021 vintage, a cooler year delivering natural acidity, tension and linear fruit definition. The blend is composed of 77% Pinot Noir, 15% Pinot Meunier and 8% Chardonnay, reflecting a structured, Pinot-driven profile with Meunier contributing fruit lift and Chardonnay adding tension and finesse.
Vinification follows a low-intervention approach, using indigenous yeasts and parcel-based fermentations, with a combination of stainless steel and oak depending on vineyard component. The wine is aged on lees in bottle to build texture and complexity, and is finished in a low-dosage (Extra Brut style) to preserve purity, drive and transparency.
The nose is precise and layered, showing citrus zest, green apple and white peach, interwoven with redcurrant, wild strawberry, brioche and chalky mineral tones. The palate is linear yet textural, driven by fine mousse, bright acidity and a saline mineral backbone. The Pinot-led structure is balanced by Meunier’s subtle fruit generosity and Chardonnay’s lift.
