Pale copper rosé with a fine, persistent mousse. La Comédie Rosé 2019 is a terroir-driven, low-dosage grower Champagne from Écueil, 1er Cru in the Montagne de Reims, produced in extremely limited quantities.

The blend is composed of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay, with colour achieved through the addition of vin rouge (saignée/blended red wine component), contributing both aromatic precision and structural depth.

The 2019 vintage delivers ripe phenolic concentration while maintaining tension and drive. Vinification is highly controlled, with élevage predominantly in oak (alongside a small proportion in amphora), partial malolactic fermentation, and extended lees ageing of over four years. The wine is bottled without fining or filtration and finished with a low dosage of 2.3 g/L, resulting in a precise, extra-brut expression.

The nose is layered and detailed, showing redcurrant, blood orange and citrus oil, supported by white stone fruit, toasted hazelnut, brioche, and subtle spice from barrel influence. The palate is textural and vinous, underpinned by chalky mineral tension, fine mousse, and a long, saline-driven finish.
