The 2025 Pinot Gris from Ravensworth is a textural, skin-contact expression shaped by the hands of Bryan Martin. Fruit is drawn in equal measure from the Long Rail Gully vineyard in Murrumbateman and the Ravensworth vineyard, creating a balanced foundation of site-driven freshness and depth.

Long Rail Gully, sitting at around 600 metres on granite soils, brings lift, structure and natural acidity, while Ravensworth contributes generosity and fruit weight. In keeping with Bryan Martin’s distinctive approach, the fruit is treated like a red wine: fully destemmed and fermented on skins in small open-top fermenters for approximately four weeks. This extended maceration builds texture, phenolic grip and savoury complexity before the wine is pressed to tank for settling and bottling.

The 2025 vintage is described as a near-perfect season—moderate warmth, timely rainfall and exceptional fruit quality—resulting in a wine of clarity and abundance. The style is layered and expressive, with a balance of ripe orchard fruit, subtle savoury tones and a fine, gently grippy structure from the skin contact, finishing with freshness and persistence.
