Domaine Amélie and Charles Sparr brings together two historic Alsatian wine families, with the Sparr lineage in the region dating back to 1634 and Charles representing the twelfth generation. After years of tending vineyards and supplying fruit to négociants, Amélie and Charles established their own domaine in 2013 and began bottling under their name in 2017, committed to organic and biodynamic farming across clay and granite soils. The 2022 Pensée opens with bright aromas of melon, citrus and white flowers, touched by ripe yellow plum. On the palate it is supple and harmonious, with lively acidity and a clean mineral finish that captures the freshness and clarity for which Alsace Pinot Blanc is known.
