The HUN cuvée is his introduction to the world of dry Furmint, offering exceptional precision, purity and value.
Made from 100% Furmint sourced from six estate vineyards around the village of Mád, the wine is vinified parcel by parcel before blending. Fermented in stainless steel and crafted with minimal intervention, it captures the vibrant acidity, mineral character and remarkable concentration that define the region's volcanic soils.
The 2021 vintage is bright and expressive, with aromas of citrus, green apple, pear, fresh ginger and a hint of mint. The palate is crisp and energetic, balancing ripe orchard fruit with saline minerality, impressive texture and a long, precise finish. Elegant and food-friendly, it offers a fascinating alternative to Chablis or dry Riesling while expressing a character that is uniquely Tokaj.

We focus on wines with soul. Wines made by real people who care deeply about what they do. Many of the bottles you'll find here are produced in small quantities, difficult to find, and chosen because we truly believe they're worth drinking.
Founded by Pedro Vicente, Appellance grew from a lifelong passion for food, wine, and hospitality. After years working as a chef and travelling through wine regions, meeting growers and tasting wines at their source, it became clear that some of the most exciting wines never make it onto the shelves of large retailers.
That's where we come in.
We spend our time searching for hidden gems, great value discoveries, and special bottles from Australia and beyond, making them easy for you to access and enjoy.
Every wine is personally selected, carefully stored in temperature-controlled conditions, and delivered with genuine care.

We take responsibility for your order and will do our best to ensure it arrives safely. Please note that couriers can sometimes cause delays or breakages that are outside of our direct control. If this happens, please contact us and we will work to make it right.
We take great care in packing and storing our wines. If your order arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and we will arrange a replacement or refund where appropriate. Due to the nature of wine, we are unable to accept returns for change of mind.
