Còsmic Vinyaters, led by Salvador Batlle Barrabeig, connects two very different Catalan landscapes: the inland Alt Empordà, tucked against the Pyrenees, and the more coastal Baix Penedès. Salvador works with old, locally adapted vines and a hands-off approach, with grapes harvested according to lunar cycles and wines made without fining, filtration or additives.

Vitalitat is an energetic Pét-Nat of 80% Parellada and 20% Moscatell d'Alexandria, from 56- and 20-year-old vines on calcareous-clay soils in Serra del Montmell. The grapes are destemmed and macerated on skins for three days before spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel and a second fermentation in bottle.

Crisp, saline and beautifully bright, with pomelo, sea spray, rosemary and a chalky mineral edge running through the fine bubbles. A seriously refreshing Catalan Pét-Nat that works equally well as an aperitif or alongside food.
