Xiao Pu
XiaoPu is the nomadic project of winemaker Ian Dai Hongjing, founded in 2017 with a focus on low-intervention expressions of site across China's most dynamic vineyard regions. The work centres on Ningxia, where high altitude, intense sunlight and dramatic diurnal shifts produce wines of both concentration and freshness.
These are wines that challenge every preconception of Chinese wine — unfined, unfiltered, and made with minimal intervention. The range spans orange wine, natural red blends and single-variety expressions, all united by a commitment to place and an exploratory spirit that feels genuinely new.
