This is anything but an ordinary Bourgogne Blanc. The 2024 comes almost entirely from Benjamin Leroux's own vineyards in Meursault, including Les Millerands, Sous la Velle and Les Belles Côtes. While much Bourgogne-level fruit is grown on the flatter land beyond the D974, Leroux's vines sit on the lower slopes of the Côte, directly below the village-level vineyards of Meursault.

The wine was matured in 50% large oak, 25% Wineglobe and 25% used barrique, keeping the élevage beautifully restrained. Fresh citrus, apple blossom and sea spray lead into a poised, mineral palate with orange pith, gentle texture and excellent length.

The vineyard origins tell the story here: Meursault-grown Chardonnay carrying a Bourgogne Blanc label, made with the same precision that runs throughout Leroux's range. Exceptional value for white Burgundy.
