Claus Preisinger is one of Burgenland's leading natural winemakers, working biodynamically from his base in Gols on the eastern shore of Lake Neusiedlersee. His wines are defined by freshness, energy and a strong sense of place, with minimal intervention allowing the character of the vineyards to come through.

Kalkundkiesel Weiß 2024 is a vibrant and beautifully textured white made from 60% Pinot Blanc, 30% Grüner Veltliner, 5% Muskateller and 5% Welschriesling. Bright citrus and orchard fruit combine with delicate floral and herbal notes, fine minerality and a subtle savoury character. Fresh acidity and gentle texture give the wine plenty of energy and length.

Made from biodynamically farmed grapes and naturally fermented with minimal intervention, the wine is unfined and unfiltered. Fresh, energetic and quietly complex, Kalkundkiesel Weiß is a beautiful expression of Preisinger's approach to natural winemaking and the distinctive character of Burgenland.
