Claus Preisinger is one of Burgenland's most respected natural winemakers, based in Gols on the eastern shore of Lake Neusiedlersee. Working biodynamically, he focuses on expressive, energetic wines that capture the freshness and character of the region.
Puszta Libre 2024 is a bright, juicy red made from Zweigelt and St. Laurent, combining vibrant red berry fruit, sour cherry, subtle spice and a touch of earthiness. Light-bodied and refreshing, it has lively acidity and a supple texture that makes it incredibly easy to drink.
The grapes are naturally fermented with minimal intervention before being bottled unfined and unfiltered. The result is a pure, energetic and wonderfully crunchy Austrian red that balances freshness with plenty of character. A classic Claus Preisinger wine and a great expression of biodynamic, low-intervention winemaking in Burgenland.

Founded by Pedro Vicente, Appellance grew from a lifelong passion for food, wine, and hospitality. After years working as a chef and travelling through wine regions, meeting growers and tasting wines at their source, it became clear that some of the most exciting wines never make it onto the shelves of large retailers.

We spend our time searching for hidden gems, great value discoveries, and special bottles from Australia and beyond, making them easy for you to access and enjoy.
Every wine is personally selected, carefully stored in temperature-controlled conditions, and delivered with genuine care.

We take great care in packing and storing our wines. If your order arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and we will arrange a replacement or refund where appropriate. Due to the nature of wine, we are unable to accept returns for change of mind.
