Comando G is one of the defining voices of the Sierra de Gredos, working high-altitude Garnacha vineyards in Cebreros with a philosophy rooted in minimal intervention, regenerative farming and an obsessive focus on place. La Bruja is their entry point into the range and it is a remarkable one.
The 2024 vintage was shaped by a severe April frost that reduced yields dramatically, forcing the team to source additional fruit from El Tiemblo. The result is a regional Gredos red of real charm: rounder and juicier than the 2023, with pretty aromas of violets and wild herbs, a fine-boned mouthfeel and chalky tannins. It comes in at 14% alcohol with excellent freshness and balance. 22,678 bottles and 242 magnums produced. Bottled August 2025.
Luis Gutiérrez of The Wine Advocate awarded La Bruja 2024 94 points, writing: "It has more fruit and is rounder and juicier than the 2023, but it still delivers very pretty aromas of violets and wild herbs. It has a fine-boned mouthfeel with chalky tannins... good freshness and balance."
