A benchmark expression of Frappato from one of Sicily's most influential producers. Since 1980, COS has championed organic farming, indigenous varieties and minimal-intervention winemaking, helping redefine the reputation of Sicilian wine around the world.

Made from 100% Frappato, the vineyards are farmed organically on the red sandy soils and limestone of Vittoria. Fermented with native yeasts and aged in concrete tanks, the wine preserves the purity, freshness and vibrant character that make Frappato one of Italy's most captivating red varieties.

The 2024 vintage is lifted and perfumed, offering aromas of wild strawberry, sour cherry, rose petals, blood orange and Mediterranean herbs. The palate is bright and silky, with juicy red fruit, fine tannins, lively acidity and a long, savoury finish. Elegant, energetic and incredibly drinkable, it captures the essence of Sicily without any heaviness.

A true Appellance-style wine: organic, minimal intervention and full of personality. One of Italy's finest examples of Frappato.
