Domaine de Sulauze is the estate of Guillaume and Karina Lefèvre, who farm their vineyards organically and biodynamically near Aix-en-Provence. Their property is run as a diverse agricultural ecosystem rather than simply a vineyard, with the same philosophy carried into the cellar through spontaneous fermentations and minimal intervention.

Pomponette is a vibrant blend of Grenache Noir, Syrah, Cinsault, Cabernet Sauvignon, Mourvèdre and Vermentino (Rolle). It has become something of a calling card for the domaine, delivering everything we love about Provence rosé while retaining considerably more personality than the conventional style.

Wild strawberry, white peach and fresh citrus lead into delicate florals, Mediterranean herbs and a subtle saline edge. The palate is dry and energetic, with crisp acidity and just enough texture to give the wine substance before a clean, mineral finish. Refreshing, characterful and dangerously easy to drink.
