Domaine Gramenon is one of the most iconic and sought-after producers in the Southern Rhône, celebrated for wines that favour perfume, freshness and elegance over the power traditionally associated with the region. Founded in 1978 by Philippe Laurent and Michèle Aubéry, the estate has become a benchmark for thoughtful, minimal-intervention winemaking. Today, Michèle and her son Maxime-François continue the family's remarkable legacy, farming their vineyards biodynamically and producing some of the most captivating expressions of Grenache in France.

Poignée de Raisins, meaning "a fistful of grapes", is one of the domaine's most beloved wines. Made predominantly from Grenache with a small proportion of Cinsault, it comes from the younger vines of the original Gramenon estate in Montbrison-sur-Lez. Fermentation takes place with indigenous yeasts, without added sulphur, and the wine is bottled without fining or filtration.

The 2025 is particularly beautiful, coming from a warm, dry vintage that has delivered wonderfully ripe fruit while retaining the freshness and delicacy that make Gramenon so special. Bursting with juicy raspberries, wild strawberries, red cherries and delicate floral notes, the palate is incredibly silky, supple and energetic, with gentle tannins and a lovely savoury edge.

Light on its feet, wonderfully perfumed and almost dangerously drinkable. This is Grenache at its most charming, with all the character of the Southern Rhône but none of the heaviness. A wine that rarely lasts long once opened, and one of the finest examples of this style you will find anywhere.

Absolutely delicious served with a slight chill.
