Sourced from the Garretti vineyard in Grinzane Cavour, where old Nebbiolo vines around 70 years old grow on south facing alluvial and calcareous clay soils, the 2021 vintage opens with complex aromas of ripe red fruit, spice, floral notes and subtle earthy undertones, leading to a structured palate with refined yet ample tannins, vibrant acidity and a long, mineral inflected finish that reflects the vineyard’s unique character.
