Mataburro is the project of Laurent Roger and Mélissa Ingrand in Rivesaltes, Roussillon. Drawing on generations of family viticulture and the influence of legendary natural winemaker Alain Castex, they make energetic, expressive wines that capture the Mediterranean character of their vineyards without excessive extraction or intervention.
Mura Mura 2025 is a beautifully unusual rosé made from Grenache Noir, Merlot, Muscat à Petits Grains and Muscat d'Alexandrie. The Grenache and Merlot come from Rivesaltes, while the Muscat varieties are grown in Espira-de-l'Agly.
Each variety was harvested and vinified separately, with short macerations designed to preserve freshness and aromatic detail. The picking period extended over ten days before the individual components were brought together.
The result is a wonderfully fragrant, light and refreshing rosé, with the Muscat varieties contributing a particularly expressive aromatic lift. A distinctly Mediterranean wine, full of freshness and personality.

Founded by Pedro Vicente, Appellance grew from a lifelong passion for food, wine, and hospitality. After years working as a chef and travelling through wine regions, meeting growers and tasting wines at their source, it became clear that some of the most exciting wines never make it onto the shelves of large retailers.
That's where we come in.
We spend our time searching for hidden gems, great value discoveries, and special bottles from Australia and beyond, making them easy for you to access and enjoy.
Every wine is personally selected, carefully stored in temperature-controlled conditions, and delivered with genuine care.

We take great care in packing and storing our wines. If your order arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and we will arrange a replacement or refund where appropriate. Due to the nature of wine, we are unable to accept returns for change of mind.
