One of Spain’s most historic and important Albariño producers, Palacio de Fefiñanes has been connected to wine since the 17th century. The winery itself was formally established over 100 years ago and became the first estate to bottle and trademark Albariño in 1928—helping define the variety’s global reputation from its home in the Salnés Valley.

Today, Fefiñanes remains a reference point for classic, coastal Albariño: precise, expressive and consistently refined.

The 2023 vintage is a textbook expression of the style. Made from 100% Albariño, it shows lifted aromatics of white flowers, citrus peel, ripe stone fruit and subtle herbal tones. There’s a clear sense of purity and ripeness, balanced by the natural Atlantic acidity that defines the region.

The palate is fresh and detailed, with stone fruit, lemon zest and saline-driven minerality. A gentle textural weight gives presence without losing tension, leading into a clean finish with a faint, characteristic bitter twist that adds length and definition.
