Patrick Sullivan is one of the most quietly compelling winemakers working in Australia today. Based in the Yarra Valley but sourcing from some of the country's most interesting sites, he brings a restrained, site-driven approach to every wine he makes. This Chardonnay comes from the Limestone Coast, where volcanic and limestone-rich soils give the fruit a distinct mineral tension and natural energy.

In the glass it is precise and focused. Lemon curd, white peach and a faint hazelnut note on the nose, with a subtle spice lift from careful handling. The palate is bright and linear, with lively acidity and a clean mineral core carrying through to a long, layered finish. There is nothing heavy or overworked here. Just Chardonnay that speaks clearly of where it comes from.
