Des Jours et des Muids is one of Paul Gosset's more vinous and characterful Champagnes, showing the depth and texture that can come from thoughtful élevage in wood.

Based in Aÿ, Gosset works on a tiny scale, focusing on individual vineyards and allowing each wine to develop its own personality rather than imposing a fixed house style. The use of muids and extended élevage brings additional breadth and savoury complexity.

Ripe orchard fruit, preserved citrus and red-fruited notes meet toasted spice, nuts and a subtle oxidative complexity. The palate is broad and textured, but a firm mineral line keeps everything precise. This is serious, gastronomic Champagne with enough depth to sit comfortably alongside food.
