Born from the partnership between the Rupert family of Franschhoek and the Rothschild family of Bordeaux, Baroness Nadine represents a shared vision of elegance, refinement and world-class Chardonnay. Since the first vintage in 1998, it has become one of the estate's most celebrated expressions.
Sourced from vineyards overlooking the Atlantic-influenced Cape Coast, this is a Chardonnay shaped by freshness and precision. The 2023 is crafted from 100% Chardonnay, with gentle whole bunch pressing and maturation in French oak barrels and large-format foudres, striking a beautiful balance between richness, texture and mineral energy.
Layers of citrus, mandarin and orange blossom lead into a palate of fine texture, vibrant acidity and seamless oak integration. Fresh and composed, with the structure to age gracefully.
For lovers of Burgundy, cool-climate whites and beautifully crafted wines, this is South African Chardonnay at its best.

We take great care in packing and storing our wines. If your order arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and we will arrange a replacement or refund where appropriate. Due to the nature of wine, we are unable to accept returns for change of mind.
