Agricola Ebenezer 2025
New arrival. Orders will be dispatched between the 17th and 24th of August.
Callum Powell's Agricola Vintners is one of the most exciting projects to emerge from the Barossa in years. His focus is on cool-climate Eden Valley hillside sites, working with dry-grown vines of exceptional age, and a winemaking approach that gets out of the way and lets the vineyard speak.
Ebenezer is sourced from two Hoffmann Dallwitz blocks of extraordinary provenance: 'Old' vines planted between 1888 and 1912, and a 1996 block that brings a complementary layer of fruit and structure. Dry-grown and deeply rooted in the Ebenezer district, these vines carry the weight of generations. The age and character of the fruit is written into every layer of the wine.
The 2025 vintage was early and dry, with low yields delivering concentrated flavours and striking natural acidity. Dark berries, earth, and mineral depth. Structured tannins and a long, precise finish. Built for the cellar.
14.6% alcohol. 2,304 bottles produced.
