Equipo Navazos was founded in 2005 by Jesus Barquin and Eduardo Ojeda, who search the historic bodegas of Jerez, Sanlucar and Montilla for exceptional single casks and soleras. Each numbered La Bota release is bottled in tiny quantities, and together they have become some of the most sought after wines in Andalucia.
Our selection spans the range of traditional styles: bone dry Manzanilla and Fino, the deeper complexity of Manzanilla Pasada, Amontillado and Palo Cortado, and the richly sweet Casa del Inca Pedro Ximenez. Expect intense salinity, flor, roasted nuts and remarkable length.

Our Story
Appellance is a small, independent wine merchant based in Sydney, built around a simple idea: finding and sharing genuinely great wines from passionate producers around the world.
We focus on wines with soul. Wines made by real people who care deeply about what they do. Many of the bottles you'll find here are produced in small quantities, difficult to find, and chosen because we truly believe they're worth drinking.
Founded by Pedro Vicente, Appellance grew from a lifelong passion for food, wine, and hospitality. After years working as a chef and travelling through wine regions, meeting growers and tasting wines at their source, it became clear that some of the most exciting wines never make it onto the shelves of large retailers.
That's where we come in.
We spend our time searching for hidden gems, great value discoveries, and special bottles from Australia and beyond, making them easy for you to access and enjoy.
Every wine is personally selected, carefully stored in temperature-controlled conditions, and delivered with genuine care.
Most importantly, we're a small business that loves wine and loves helping people discover it. If you ever need a recommendation or are searching for something special, we're always happy to help.

Shipping
We ship throughout Australia from Sydney. Delivery times vary by location and will be confirmed at checkout.
Sydney Local Delivery
We offer free local delivery within 25 km of our Chatswood warehouse in Sydney, with no minimum spend.
For local deliveries, we aim to deliver as soon as the next day. Delivery times may vary depending on seasonality and order volumes.
For deliveries outside our local Sydney delivery zone, enjoy free shipping on all orders over $200.
For orders below $200, flat-rate shipping applies based on your delivery location:
NSW, VIC & ACT — $15
SA & QLD — $25
WA — $30
TAS & NT — $40
Signature on delivery is required for all alcohol shipments to verify age. If no one is available to sign, the courier will leave a card for collection or re-delivery.
We take responsibility for your order and will do our best to ensure it arrives safely. Please note that couriers can sometimes cause delays or breakages outside of our direct control. If this happens, please contact us and we will work to make it right.
Returns
We take great care in packing and storing our wines. If your order arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and we will arrange a replacement or refund where appropriate. Due to the nature of wine, we are unable to accept returns for change of mind.
