Equipo Navazos has built a cult following by searching the old bodegas of Andalucía for extraordinary individual casks and soleras. Their La Bota releases showcase traditional wines of remarkable age and character, often bottled in extremely small quantities.

La Bota 85 comes from the oldest Fino solera at Pérez Barquero in Montilla-Moriles and is made from Pedro Ximénez, with an estimated average age of 12 to 14 years. Sitting beautifully between Fino and Amontillado, it combines freshness and salinity with dried citrus, roasted almond and the first signs of oxidative complexity. A fascinating and increasingly rare style of Andalusian wine.
